Although we've got a relatively small population "up on the hill" (as we like to say), we've got an incredibly diverse, interesting community and the best the Sierra has to offer. So great are our recreational opportunities, that Men's Journal named Groveland one of the country's 25 best Dream Towns. We are ranchers, artists, raft guides, writers, fiddle players, loggers, tree huggers, photographers, naturalists, entrepreneurs, retired and not-so-retired business owners, opera singers and just regular folks who
love clear night skies and all the Sierra has to offer. If you had a great experience up here, send us photos of your Sierra adventure we'll post them if they are suitable, when space is available. Here are some of the reasons we love the Groveland area so much.
